Saeed M. Al Ghamdi
Saeed Al Ghamdi is the Chairman of the Board of? Directors of the National Commercial Bank (NCB) – the largest bank in Saudi Arabia, and a leading financial services group in the region. He was appointed to this position in May 2018.
He joined NCB earlier in March? 2013 as the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Al Ghamdi began his career in 1987 with the Ministry of Defense and Aviation and then he moved to Al Rajhi Bank in 1991, where he progressed in a number of jobs to assume later several leading positions. During 2012, he worked as an advisor to HE the Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency ?SAMA?, and an advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “National Commercial Bank.”
He currently is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ?Turkey Finans Katilim Bankasi ? (TFKB) – a subsidiary of NCB and a leading Islamic bank in Turkey. He also is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Credit Bureau ( SIMAH), a member of the MasterCard Middle East & Africa Advisory Board, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of International Finance (IIF).
Outside the financial domain, Al Ghamdi is a member of the Advisory Board of the BA College at Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia, and a member of the College International Advisory Board of the College of Industrial Management (CIM), KFUPM, Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Al Ghamdi holds a Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dammam, KSA (1987).
